Who is Nicholas Armand?
Born and raised in Florida, but currently residing in North Carolina, Nicholas Armand is embracing the label of “One of the most Versatile and Exciting DJs in the Southeast today”. His unique sound incorporates elements of electro house, funky breaks, hip-hop, Miami bass, Top 40 and even Freestyle during his non-stop musical voyages.
In 2000 he founded VWE Music, an entertainment agency with a focus on music promotion and new artist discovery. Still active with the agency, Nicholas Armand is now managed by the company he created more than a decade ago.
Since 2008, Nicholas Armand has held a number of residencies at various venues throughout North Carolina along with a number of radio mixshows. Even with multiple residencies in North Carolina, Nicholas Armand still finds time to play guest DJ spots in cities including Cincinnati(OH), Charlotte(NC), Raleigh(NC), Greensboro(NC), Greeneville(NC), Orlando(FL), Ft Lauderdale(FL) and Miami(FL). On his journey Nicholas Armand has shared stages with many industry massives such as Benny Benassi, DJ Icey, Noel Sanger, DJ HeavyGrinder, Blake Jarrell, DJ X and many others.
In 2013 Nicholas Armand teamed up with fellow NC based DJ/producer DJ 818, and together they formed RoShamBo. In just a few short months RoShamBo has produced more than 50 remix tracks, and have collaborated with some major players in the music industry including Jefferson Funk and KC & The Sunshine Band. They also signed a distribution deal with Muze Records for releasing of theri original tracks. RoShamBo’s aggressive breakbeat sound has been noticed by many in the business with positive feedback and 3000+ plays per month on their SoundCloud pages.
Nicholas Armand’s electrifying energy and presence elevates dance floors to new levels, reveling crowds from one track to the next.
